Styling Emcee

When researching my hair design elements i came across this image, i was very inspired by this and i want to use this as inspiration for the styling of my Emcee Characterisation. I feel creating a jacket or something similar with nothing on underneath at the top from tinsel would compliment the texture within the hair but add a flamboyant, extrovert factor something during my research i have found creates a club kid.

After thinking and being very inspired by this idea i began looking images on pintrest of tinsel coats and was surprised how many images i found i feel this is very different and would add an interesting element to the images.

I was thinking of a way to make the jacket so that it blends in with the rest of the look i began thinking about making the look monochromatic and making the jacket baby pink so that it wouldn't take away from the elements within the makeup and hair. I have created a design that i will get a faux fur baby pink gilet and create tinsel sleeves so that the elements are there but it dosent steal attention away from the main element of the look. I feel this look further relates to elements within 1920's fashion the flapper dresses mainly in style the tiers within the dress mirror the tinsel along with heavy embellishment use within 1920's fashion furthermore fur was a huge part of the winter wardrobe.
