Design 1

When creating this design i was hesitant how it would work onto a face as obviously there were features to work around the the 3D element could make the line not look as geometric as i would want.
I liked the colours of the eye shadow as a contour and the Aqua Colour pallet, although i felt the line didn't work as well on the face as it did on my face chart although i did only do half i face i felt that the main part of the design didn't work too well.
Design 2
I really liked this design on my model i felt the colour worked well on the face and the featured enhanced the shapes rather than distracting like the other design. I loved the effect of the eye brow shape and colour showing through as originally i was going to cover them up before the eyebrow shape i feel that this shadow of the brow and the lip looked very effective with the red colour and bold shapes. I further loved the contrast between the baby pastel pink tone from the contour and the bold sharp red tone on the features. I feel this design relates well to club culture inspired by influences such as Leigh Bowery but includes 1930's elements through the red tone and hair structure.
I preferred my second design as i felt that the overall composition of the placement of colour worked better. I further feel that it shows my design development better having included elements from my research and hold club culture influences and 1930's influences also.
I further talked to Lottie about my hair design and discussed with her the best way to achieve this would be to create the style wet with gel and then spray the hair using a pastel pink colour spray then the style won't be effected and i can get the crispy effect i want.
