Fantasy Hair

In todays lesson we were given a word and instructed to develop our designs to make it fit into the design we had already created for our club culture character. I was partnered with Lauren and our word was Fantasy we began by creating sketches of our original ideas and brain storming between us drawing out our ideas for both how we could make mine and Lauren's designs relate to Fantasy.

We then had to create our designs on either a dolls head or partner i created my second design onto Lauren, although in the original sketch the colour would have been a baby pink ombre into a plumb pink and the kiss curl buns ombre into mint green glitter this then also brushed through the finger waves and kiss curls. 

 I was very pleased with my finger waves and feel that the more i have practised the better i became.
I liked the buns although they could have been more structured and none of the pins showing, i like this design and feel it works for both my 1930's influence and club culture, although i won't be using it as my character is the Emcee and i feel this is more of a feminine design.
