' The walls were covered with sketches on menu cards, caricatures and signed theatrical photographs- the fan itself, four times life size, was displayed above the bar. There was a big piano on a platform in the middle of the room.'

I picture that the club is underground with no windows, it is very dirty and tacky, that its trying to be upperclass but the detailing is very cheap but art deco inspiered. There is not much light and the air filled with smoke creating a fog over the room. The stage area is close to the audience with steps coming down, the band at the left hand side of the stage on a platform, it is quite cramped, and the bar is to the left hand side of the room. People laughing drunk and slouching over the tables around the room. Below i have created an initial mood board of how i would imagine Sally's surrounding to be within the club.

Further i can imagine all the women in the club to we wearing revealing dresses but there most galmorus, most of the women would have been working in the club so could be wearing stage outfits and head dresses possibly some nudity with lots of colour, glitter and detailing There hair and makeup exagurated. The men would be dressed up in there evening suits looking very smart. There would also be some transgender people within the club. The overall room would look glittery, bright, exciting and like everyone was having fun. I have created a mood board exploring how the style of dress would be within the klub.
