Instructions Final Charts for Emcee

Hair Design 

For the hair design i have decided to use a Pink spray on colour (from Claire's Accessories) as Lottie suggested this would be the best way to achieve the exaggerated finger waves with the crispy looking without moving them around to apply the colour. This way i can also keep in the pins to hold the shape and spray them pink too. I further felt that when looking at my initial designs that the kiss curls onto the face distracted from the exaggerated shapes of the finger wave a key element to my Emcee design.

Instructions: 

Step 1: section the hair from behind the ears back wards and tie this tight into a pony tail, taking the front section part the hair from the far left side to right.

Step 2: Creating the finger wave wet down the hair and apply a lot a wet gel combing this through to the ends. Using the pin tail comb brush the hair backwards clamping down with the middle finger brush the hair forwards again and dig in the comb and push up wards to create a ridge clamp with your pointer finger and pin into place using flat pins, repeat this until whole section is complete and again on the other side.

Step 3: With the left over hair from the finger wave pin this back, Using water and gel comb down the back section and tie all remaining hair into a ponytail tucking in the ends and pinning.

Step 4: Spraying the extensions before hand clip these in above the pintail. Taking stands of the extensions cover in gel and wrap around you finger to create a kiss curl shape place onto the chest and hair spray until done, there should be around 3/4 kiss curls on either side. With the remaining hair tuck and pin this under to conceal.

Step 5: When the style is complete spray the hair with the pink spray covering the models face until fully covered.

Makeup Design 

Instructions: 

Step 1: Applying Illamasqua Mat primer all over the face, then using MAC foundation apply all over the face and blend, apply Dermacolor camouflage D3 & D4 to underneath the eye and on any blemishes, then apply Illamasqua translucent powder all over the face.

Step 2: Using the Illamasqua powder colour Tremble apply to all the contour areas: temple, hair line/forehead, cheekbones and jaw line and chin blending down into the neck. Make sure that the colour blend into the hair line and hair colour.

Step 3: Taking the MAC lip Mix in red using a thin small brush create a box shape over the lip and fill in the same thickness all along. Using the same colour create a pointed shape at the end and following the natural brow shape create a thicker brow fill this shape in, in the same way.
